The five-star Grand Hotel Palace is the ideal place for a vacation in a refined and luxurious Italian-Sicilian spirit. The hotel is in baroque and renaissance luxury of decadence style. The staff at the hotel are professional and simply dedicated to their guests from all over the world, from Denmark to the United States of America. The most delicious Italian wines and the best Marsali espresso coffee are served here. Breakfast at the hotel is buffet style. From Italian savory to the most delicious sweet specialties. Bartender Giovanni Lo Cascio is professional and diligent, he was at our service every second. Ms. Daniella from reception is really nice and professional. The outdoor swimming pool in particular adorns the oasis of the old Palace Hotel. The water is warm and clean. At the pool there is a beautiful garden for aperitif services and a restaurant (food and meals). Be sure to try Gambere and a sandwich with tuna, salad and a special tomato. A white wine that smells like fresh lemon perfume, it's great. The service inside the hotel goes to the signature for the room. So everything is made easy for you. You don't have to carry personal documents and money, or bank cards and wonder if you'll ever lose them. Room are amazing and luxury. We will come back to this wonderful hotel again. Marsala is a historical place that you will enjoy to the maximum. You can visit the Marakaibo beach with an agreement at the hotel reception, which will organize a transfer for you within 15 minutes from and to the hotel with a 30% discount on sunbeds and umbrellas. The hotel is a bit like a throwback to a bygone time, but it works. Service (pool) can be a little slow, but it's still provided and with friendly staff. The air con works brilliantly (which was needed in the inferno heat we had!) and our room was a great size and comfortable. Shower could do with an update. The best thing about this hotel though is the pool, it's massive and has a diving board for endless fun. There is lots of shade for those not wanting the sun. The restaurant isn't used by guests for anything other than breakfast which seems a shame, but there are lots of wonderful restaurants in Marsala. Hotel is located just near the old town, is walkable or there is car park 5 mins away.

This stay was a pleasure from the first moment till we left. The staff accommodated us with our furry and suffering from heat cat very quickly, even in spite of our slightly early arrival. The room was beautiful, stylish, spacious and very comfortable. Also walking in the corridors was like in an art museum. Breakfast was with many salty and sweet options, we really liked different stuffed pies and local pastries. The staff was friendly and made all arrangements we asked for. We totally recommend to visit the Florian winery nearby, and you can reserve at the reception.

Very nice-looking hotel, with calm surroundings. The pool in the hotel is large. so if only it's hot outside you could spend a lot of time there, especially as the town is mostly for day-round trip. So if you are looking for hotel in which you just want to rest, take a 2-3 hour stroll around the town, and then go back to chill on the pool with some wine - totally fine choice. A supermarket is close by, so if you need to stock-up it is also totally fine to do so.

The property had a nice large pool with sun loungers. It was great for cooling down in the hot summer. We could order drinks around the pool from the staff there in the afternoon. The rooms were large and very clean with a minibar / fridge. The breakfast buffet was good for Italian standards and the guy making us cappuccinos and espresso macchiatos was so friendly and nice. Staff was nice and friendly.
